GM Upgraded Clutch for LSJ

Does anyone know if the clutch that gm has as an upgrade for the lsj will hold up against 400 whp or what whp it will hold and how long?

I'm running 345whp running through mine right now and it holds just fine. Not sure about more horsepower.

clutches are rated by torque and not horsepower.

i believe you should be fine, provided you know how to drive and not ride the clutch all the time.

If i might add, i am not near 400hp but boy do i love this clutch. my stock clutch on my 07 LSJ went @ 55k. yea i get on my car and launch a lot, but i usually spin the wheels with an aggresive clutch drop, rather than slip it. clutch had meat left, the damn pressure plate warped and cracked (shifted a couple hundred times or so, 1st rev 1st rev stuck in snow, sure that helped a LOT ) the guy who replaced my clutch said a bellhousing bolt was missing when he took the tranny out, so the guy b4 me might have done some work and/or roasted the clutch the 1st 10k miles b4 i got it. anywho....

got this clutch in for about 2k miles now, and with 260hp i can powershift 1->2 and 2->3 @ 7k rpm no problem, tires (max perf. htr z3's 8" wide) chirp on every road, it grips really well. the clutch rating really only matters when ur shifting, and so long as u don't try and powershift every time with that much power, it'll hold up great. this is the stock clutch on all LNFs and they have the gm tune out for 330hp.
