So my left axles started cracking and popping like crazy the other day. Did some research and ordered me some ZZP stage 1 axles with new seals from them as well. I've changed axles on a couple other cars, just curious if there's anything special I should know or any tips for changing them on Balts. Mines a 06 SS/SC.

 

Pretty basic stuff. Only thing is that sometimes when your trying to pull an axle out, it feels like you need to take something else off but you might just need to pry a bit. My ds came out with a good yank. Had to pry the ps out.

 

Yeah the pass side can be really locked into the intermediate shaft. But no it's a pretty simple procedure aside from that.
