HAWK High Performance Street 5.0 Pads

Hey guys, it's time for me to get some new pads for the SS. I currently have Hawk Ceramic Pads which have been installed since 2010. They have been a great pad. Stop on a dime, low dust, etc. I'd like to upgrade to a little more performance oriented pad though. Has anyone tried or are using Hawks new take on their HPS pads... HPS 5.0? I know back in the day everyone and their mother ran the HAWK HPS pads, so I figured these newer updated versions might be a nice option. I also thought about running stock SS/SC rear pads, and Hawk HP Plus pads in the front, but I've read in numerous threads on here, and on other sites that the HP pads are very noisy. Any input or suggestions would be great.

HP+ pads can be noisy and not that great when cold. HPS pads are too dusty, IMO, for what they are. I liked EBC reds in the front and Powerstop z16 in the rear of my LSJ.
If you try out the HPS 5.0; review them.
I would suggest Powerstop z23 or z26 pads for your front.

Thanks again for the options.

Ended up purchasing Powerstop Z26 pads for all four corners.

I like the carbon/ceramic material used, and they got great reviews.

I'll let you guys know what I think after they arrive.

Hawk HPS pads almost no brake dust.
