If I'm looking to daily drive my car on 450whp with a couple of trips to the drag strip a month, which stage would be best for my car?

It is how much torque you have, but most likely the stage 3 is the right setup.

I am getting ready to purchase and install a stage 3 KY clutch, and I was wondering if you guys were upgrading the clutch rod (zzp)? Everyone says this clutch has stock peddle feel so I would think the stock clutch rod would hold up to the new clutch. I intend to get zzp flywheel, new flywheel bolts, new pressure plate bolts, clutch pipe, and clutch pipe elbow. Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks in advanced.

Ky clutch tob

I ordered a stage 3 clutch kit and tob and I got a tob with the green "casing" around the slave cylinder. Looks like an LSJ tob. I have an LNF and was wondering this sounds right, before I take it apart and find it is the wrong or if it even makes a difference? Thanks in advance.

Thanks

My KY clutch stage 3 went in after 12 hours of labor but all seems well right now. I just wanted to thank everyone for input and advice that make a tough job alittle easier.

For those looking for info on drivability.....This clutch has as light peddle feel like stock, catches in the same place as stock, but you might experience some light chatter when starting on a grade(if you don't rev the engine enough) . Some say this might go away as you break the clutch in, it is minor and definately nothing to prevent me from buying this clutch again. I recommend you replace the TOB, clutch pipe, and all new bolts (just to make it easier).

Looking to do KY Stage 3 for my DD SS/TC - saw the clutch, but you don't have it as a kit w/clutch pipe and all? Could use the other replaceable stuff to go with the clutch. You got that w/pricing?

That is seperate from all clutch kits. You can get a new pipe kit from your local dealer for a couple bucks if you need one

Per KY Performance clutch, their pressure plate is designed to work with the included TOB/green dust boot. You will have no issues.

Finally got the KY clutch properly installed and drove her back home. Feels just like stock with some spring back action. Anyone wondering about chatter with KY, for me "NONE!!" I paid someone to professionally install mine with a new OEM Flywheel from ZZP. Anyways thanks Aaron again for making me make the right decision lol.
