Limited power in 2nd after hard 1st gear takeoff

Limited power in 2nd after hard 1st gear takeoff

I'm new to these SS/SC, so I'm not sure what this is all about. Sometimes when I take off hard in 1st gear (spinning tires) then shift into 2nd, it doesn't rev down completely and sounds like the clutch hasn't fully released. Any ideas?

That is clutch slip.

I know I've fully engaged 2nd gear and my foot is completely off the clutch. This car only has 16K on it... Guess I better take it easy on her then
