Did a pull in 3rd gear. Shifted to 4th and nothing. Shifter wouldn't stay in gear at all. My cruise home after 4th gear was fine at crusing speed. Stock clutch. Lnf with zzp tune.

It felt like when you wiggle the shifter in neutral left and right when I tried shifting to 4th.

Shifter cables/tob started to fail. Been going thru this.

Nothing to do with the roll pin then? I did notice a slight slight noise when my clutch is out in neutral that goes away when pressin the clutch in

Well I'll admit there feels like alot of player in the shifter. Even in gear. Wondering if the roll pin will take care of that. I never adjusted the cables on this car. I do assume the last guy was rough as hell on it saying he lost 3rd gear at 15000 miles randomly driving and got a new tranny under warranty.

I had almost the same thing happen to me the other day, except 3rd is gone. Mine will shift into the 3rd gate, but there's no gear. My 5th is kind of the same, you can get it into gear but it pops out. In my case, I'm thinking it's the transmission is toast, but yours hopefully isn't as bad as mine.
