please Help ive gone Crazy Hurst shifter install!

OK well its 3am and i'm not done installing the hurst shifter. I seem to be stuck on the last part. I cannot reconnect the right cable to the plastic gray and black things. It seems like the black rubber part of the cable is suppose to go in the hole of the gray and black plastic clips but it doesn't fit in the hole. I try to just clip it but the shifter just moves and does not go in gear. What am i'm suppose to do!!!! Any help please. I'm about to just give up and leave the car with out the shifter because the stock shifter is messed up now. :cussing:

Make sure the clip is open to the point you look at it and can tell the holes are lined up, if the holes overlap the clip is either too far open or closed. Then to close the clip make sure the top of the clip (where the holes are) is past the i guess on the 06's black rubber (its yellow on my 05).

Hope that helps, kinda hard to tell what the issue is w/o being able to see it...

ok well I finished installing but I guess my hurst shifter did not come with some screw so I went around trying to find one so I tried one but it still wiggles. I got the shifter in but its hard to go into first and second and it wiggles. so im going to call hurst after they are back from vacation about getting a screw.
