Stalled And Died 2005 LS Sport Coupe?
at about 2 AM today, my 2005 Cobalt LS Sport Coupe DIED in the middle of the road... a strong electrical burning odor from under my hood hit me in the face as soon as i opened it.
anyone else had this happen???
i haven't heard from the dealer yet... i'll keeep updates as they come...

Maybe you fried a wiring harness to the ignition? Sounds like something got too hot and shorted out. Best of luck, let us know what the dealer says.

Yeah I don't get out of work until 11pm and I don't get home until 12am so it's not that uncommon for me to be driving around at 2 am. Hell I don't hit the sack until 3 am.
Lots of people other there work weird hours so we can all have 24/7 services (like the internet )

*sigh* we'll see in about 7 hours what the dealership says...
im thinkin ignition wiring as well, but its under warranty for 100,000 miles, so im not even gonna pop the damn hood til that day comes....

Ignition Module Clip
The cobalt is alive and running again, thanks to the damn ignition module wiring harness coming loose... someone musta been drunk in the factory the day my car was wired LOL
