6. Two on the bottom, two behind the rear mount, one over the starter, and one on the top, kinda under the oil cooler but more rearward.

Agreed. Get a pair of side cutters on it from the back, and cut the plastic holder. Its the biggest PITA of the whole job.

There is only one near the starter. The others are on the top, bottom, and rear of the bellhousing.

Yeah, first car I did a trans on, I thought maybe someone had left it out. Next two were the same though, so I figured they just left that rear upper hole empty from the factory. Don't know why, but they do.

Bumping again. I'd just stop by a dealer, but they are only open while I'm at work.
Anyone know?

Call CED? I have a couple here i'm sure but by the time you paid shipping and waited i'm sure it's cheaper/faster to just buy them local to you.

Been trying to call the local dealer here. They can't understand what bolt it is. I tell them stright out it hold the bell housing to the engine. I'm missing the one that goes through the oil pan to the bell housing. They ordered me the one that holds the bell hosing itself together...
Tried again and they kept saying then think it's one of these 4 bolts, after I'm telling them there's 6... then they said they'd email me the diagram and then never actually did...

You wouldn't think it'd be this difficult...

Also everything in Canada seems to cost more so I doubt it be more expensive, as they even had to order that one, wrong, bolt in, and that cost 10 bucks just for one small bolt.

The right bolt is even bigger so what's that gonna cost me 20?

Guess maybe I'll try CED tomorrow. Just so frustrated. Been soo many issue with my car. I'm in debt to it yet again and it still not even working right...

That smaller one doesn't hold the tranny on the engine. I think it's just a ground connection or something. There are 6.

Didn't look like it to me, it was just as big and long as the rest, and it does go into the block, I triple checked. Unless it misses the block , but it had no ground or anything on it, if it doesn't hold the trans then it serves no purpose

All the bell housing bolts are big 18mm bolts, there are 5-6, most cars that haven't had the trans out have one missing by the T-stat area, but there's a hole there for a bolt. Same size as the others though.

mine had that bolt it is the same size, but it uses a 13mm wrench. unless the shop who put my clutch in used a 13mm instead of 18.. the head is 13mm the bolt itself is the same size and thread as the rest of the 18 mm bolts
