09 Cobalt SS/TC tuned/bolt on dyno results

I had the Cobalt dynoed Thurs to tweak the tune after the downpipe install. It was a Mustang dyno, so I'm not really used to the lower reading compared to a dynojet, but it seems pretty good. There was also a -1700 DA correction factor; gotta love the NJ winters. The car made 272whp/315wtq SAE, and 300/344 uncorrected. There's approximately a 12% difference between Mustang dynos and dynojets, so that's about 309/358 on a dynojet. The mods are CIA catted downpipe, CIA hot side charge pipe, ZZP airbox mod w/ K&N drop in filter and AEM intake pipe, Tune Time Performance tune. https://www.cobaltss.net/gallery/fil...t_ss_dyno.jpeg

Now the clutch slips in 2nd and 3rd when the boost hits due to the colder air and more power.

no no i think the clutch slips because you don't know how to drive, and your making it slip... my buddy steve thats fully bolted and tuned is having no issues in the cold with the clutch.

How do my driving skills have anything to do with the clutch slipping when the boost hits after it has grabbed and the car is accelerating? When I press the gas and accelerate, the rpms rise quickly and the car does not accelerate, ie clutch slippage. It has nothing to do with driving skills, douchebag. Thanks for the constructive comment.

ahem, virginia winter is a tad warmer than New Jersey winters there champ. right now its 42 degrees in NJ and 53 in Va.

but clutch slip while he's accelerating really has minimal impact on his driving skills, seeing as you're basically trying to tell him that getting a tune then planting your foot in gear makes you a bad driver. am i reading your comment correctly?

Honestly, I'm not sure. That tune is history anyway.
