09 SS/TC Dyno with GM Upgrade Kit

I dynoed my car with the GM LNF Upgrade Kit on (Stage 1) on there and a K&N Drop-In Air Filter, Dejon Upper Side (Hot Side) Charge Piping, and a HKS BOV. My baseline run was also with the above mods.

I made: 277.44whp & 301.38wtq

Interesting. I still say trifecta if you're willing to lose your warranty

Lil disappointing on the Tq, I thought the GMS1 did 325-330wtq.

Not bad. When are you going to let me tune that thing for you?

That dyno is a little stingy, and his numbers are SAE smoothing set to 5. Most post STD smoothing 3-5 which are normally 10-15 whp and 10-15 wrtq higher.

glen229 12-14-2009 11:41 AM

same numbers i saw at the local dyno meet, seems to be consistent

Tomtwtwtw 12-14-2009 11:46 AM

A car here went from ~260 to ~320, but of course that is likely just the different in dyno. The gains seem very consistent. Sounds like the tune is giving an average of about 40 hp / 60 tq gains at the wheels.

Its also missing that spike from 3-4K, which is prolly where that peak number was lost too!

It is that dyno. It reads about 6-7% lower than any other dynojet in the area.

Yea. I'm very happy with my numbers! I spin a little I 2nd now. It's badass.
And Term, I am just worried about my warranty...

I am noticing the AFRs are quite high. 13.8-14.0. Any tuners care to comment on this? Is it normal or do all aftermarket tunes work as high?

I remember my GSR at 8 lbs was tuned at 12.0 afr to be safe.

Direct injection engines are generally able to run at good point or more leaner than comparable port-injection engines.

very nice man i plan on doing the stage 1 in a couple of weeks and i have like almost the same exact setup as you, just have the dejon intake instead. Im really interested in what numbers ill get, i got it dynoed after my mods and made 250 whp
