Feels amazing

I have the HHR 05-08 F23 trans in it

It has the 4.17 final with closer ratio gearing

Snail_SS 04-18-2016 03:36 PM

Wow nice congrats

ECaulk 04-18-2016 03:36 PM

Do you have info on the swap over to the f23 in one of your prior threads? To lazy to search through them right now.

Contact Tjolley on facebook for more details

You'll need the front F23 trans mount, axles, shifter, cables, and shifter console/cup holder.

Requires you machine some martial off on the housing where it makes contact with the thermostat housing.

Awesome dude! Super happy for ya. Saw the vid yesterday and hooly shit buddy!

Minus the block of course it doesnt even seem like all too crazy of a build! Shows what you can really do without a 3 inch catback and all the cooling mods. Would it have yielded lower #s on a 3rd or 4th gear pull?
Anyway as one of the few to get 'close' to 400whp (380 here) all i can say is congrats!

I did about 7 pulls, some relatively close together

The griffin holds so much water

from 3000-8000 it only rises 15-20*; then it starts climbing quickly after that.
Hits about 136-140 by 9000+. Not bad for a stock endplate

Only 294 torque? Should of just gotten an LNF.

You're a moron.

Look at the torque curve.... its flat all the way through the pull.

Doesn't peak and drop like most turbo cars. Go troll somewhere else.....

Staged07SS 04-19-2016 07:31 AM

Said it many times, but I'll say it again....

Nice job Steve & Trevor!

I dont think he understands what a torque curve is, he just looks at peak numbers and talks about his daddy's super fast scion

Look who the real trolls are  having a fat peak number is awesome and it is funny to have all that power and still not too high over stage 2 #s torque, that really is a nice graph. And who needs torque when youre pinning...

riceburner 04-19-2016 08:15 AM

Id just love to keep it in 3rd gear and let the eaton eat!

S2 torque is like 220-225 ft-lbs at best.... You to miss the point of how well that torque curve & powerband will make that car move.

All the kiddies that just look at peak numbers miss what's really going on.

VW's are making your brain shrink. Ha.

riceburner 04-19-2016 08:44 AM

Stage re read me bruh, I agree with you that its not all about the peak! Also agree that the curve for this car is great.

I managed 272ftlbs on 300whp and 282ftlbs at 380 lol, just found it funny is all.
