Talking D-Rob's 2nd Dyno Bye Bye Stock w/numbers

Went back to the dyno last Saturday. This time with a Injen Intake, Bad Mab Header, a Corsa Performance Touring Exhaust and some 42# Injectors.

Tuning was done by Arthur at Trackmasters Dyno in Huntsville, AL. As usual with me, I'll make a video lol. I was honestly disappointed in the peak gains, which is dumb in a sense, because I'm am most certainly making at or above stage 2 numbers on the stock pulley. I just thought I'd see more over my stock dyno peak.

Nevertheless that doesn't really matter, under the curve the gains were huge, and the car (after the tune) is so much faster it's beyond description. It's faster everywhere, it feels like I raised the boost faster, my brakes are begging for mercy after a 3 second wot faster, and that, is real nice.

Cooling mods will be in tow, because at the end after placing the fan on the supercharger for less than 8 minutes, I pulled out 5 more hp on the last run. 25 degrees total timing, 7250rpm limit, abuse management turned off.

Final number 236hp (235.99, I rounded up) & 204lb/ft.

New Dyno

Comparison Dyno Plot

Over 20hp & 48lb/ft under the curve.

Great number increase on just those mods! Do you plan on doing a pulley down at some point?

Thanks WSox33!

Yes I do. I want to do cooling next. I don't feel it heat soak, but on the dyno it was visible in the results, cooling the intake air would help me a lot.

I pretty much had the same idea as you with going about modding. Leaving the pulley last and doing everything else first (intake, exhaust, injectors, cool and then pulley down if i feel like it later)

I dynoed 251 whp on ZZP's mustang dyno but it's not a awd dyno. My mods are 2.9 42#'s ZZP Custom tune I purchased their stage 3 FMIC before I left my intake temps were a little high but nothing dangerous had zero KR.

I don't know why, a bolt on cobalt made 235whp. SS/TC's average within +5 or -10. And bolt on's don't do much for them. Just boost.

LOL. I know right. I keep thinking that more and more as of late. I dunno, considering he will HAVE to fix my tune, I think I'm doing pretty good for stock boost.

235 to me is still low. Because tou could be running tons and tons of timing. Did u check ure ic pump and s.c coolant lines for bubbles.

Nope, I didn't check for bubbles. 25 degrees total timing. I expected more given my base number and my setup too.

I was noticing that too man. I got HP and good TQ but a good deal less than with a stage 2 kit. I built boosted Hondas, I didn't have torque, I like it now. Torque is my fwend
