First Dyno
Went to a local dyno day with a couple other cobalts.
Very proud of how my car performed in its first dyno.
255hp 239lb torque
My mods are:
60's
2.8
full exhaust
50/50 meth with a 3 gph nozzle
trifecta tune
injen intake
Car actually recorded 317hp and 260lb torque with a the first two 3rd gear pulls but the car hit the rev limiter and it spiked to those numbers so I can't take credit for it. Why would it do that?

here is a link to the video on facebook
The second two pulls were in 4th gear and I let off just before 7000 rpms because the car was recording some light knock so I didn't want to push it.
My afr was 10.3 so it could prob use a little upgrading but none the less im happy.
I'll try and update this thread with the dyno sheet soon and we took video of the pulls which I will try and get up as well.

That is what I was doing the whole time. I have the zzp stage 3 HE and meth but there is always room for more cooling mods with these cars. Trifecta didn't want to lean it out too much for fear of messing something up so I'll prob find a local guy at some point to lean it out a bit.

You may even be seeing knock because its too rich. My car with the same mods except a cobra H/E back when i was on meth and a 2.8 took to 23* just fine with an 11.8 AFR, and I never tried pushing it harder since I converted to E shortly after that. Either way good numbers

My timing was around 22 if I remember but vince may have added a bit more near the end because we were still working on the tune. Can you check timing with the interceptor? I want to check it out now.

Dude you finally put it on the rollers!!! Those are great numbers but don't get too hung up on them, take the car to the track and get some trap speeds to really see what it's putting down. About the afr's remember those can vary going from a street tune to the dyno since there are load variations depending on gear, airflow etc.
Remember when the car is actually moving your cooling components are more efficient allowing the tune to be leaner (more o2 molecules, leaner mixture) the fans at the shop cannot simulate true road conditions.
Congrats again!!

Congrats on your numbers, your knock could be real or it could be a vibration elsewhere. Relax your timing a little bit and see if the knock goes away.
You should not have knock with 10.8 AFR unless you have some extreme timing. Which seems to me like some one tuned your timing BEFORE tuning your fuel which is ass backwards.
Vince, wont push the AFR limits, Ive discussed a lot of those reasons with a bunch of people. It has to do with business practices. Not something most people understand lol.
I hope you get it worked out, so we can all see it at full potential
