Aftermarket Boost Gauge Install

Hi. I need to change out my boost gauge due to an electrical failure with my gauge itself.

Now if I get an EVO Prosport electrical boost/vacuum gauge, is it as simple as wiring it to the harness for the factory gauge? or is there more involved in that?

One, that gauge sucks.

Two, no, you have to install their boost sensor and wire the gauge yourself. You cannot use the factory gauge wiring for anything except a 12v illumination signal wire.

Three, electric gauges lag. Buy a mechanical boost gauge instead.

Okay cool. Thanks for the input guys

Is there any way to change the light in the factory boost gauge? Like for instance, a red/blue LED light?
