another problem...amp problem

all of the sudden my amp would go in to protect right when the bass hit at any volume, then i regrounded and it stopped happening for a few days, now it only happens sometimes, at any volume, and only for like 2 seconds then it goes back to playing, i regrounded again to the bolt that holds down the back seats but havent had a chance to try it, any ideas though?

thanks

How do you have the ground attached to the amp, is there a ring/spade termonal or is it just wires stuck in there?
IDK- Sounds like an internal ground issue, if it still happens then try to use a smaller ground and ground it right to the battery. then play the music and see if it continures. If it does then chances are the internal ground is somehow not right and needs to be fixed.
Good news is its still under warranty.
Isn't that a T1000bd
If it is disconnect the power and ground wires and make sure the internal fuse that it has is bolted down tight, sometimes the rattle from bass jars things loose.

BTW- You just have bad luck in this area don't you (lol)

i already tightened down the fuse, and where the ground connects to the amp its just wires but where the ground connects to the chassis its a ring terminal, and i cant ground it to the battery cause its to far from the amp to run the ground.

and yea i have terrible luck

You should place your amp around your ground location not pick the ground location by your amp placement.
He is talking about the seat bolt not the seat belt bolt, jez emp get it right

I hope its the one thats undeer the deat not the one with the black metal bar attached to it.

Pull back the carpet on the passenger side and you will see a clamp or something like that that holds the antenna in, there are 2 10mm bolts holing it in, try one of those.

well i was driving around and it did it again, but its not long enough to get to the battery, so ill prob just drill a hole in the chassis by the spare.
