Big 3....Anybody
 

I was thinking of doing the big 3 upgrade and going to 1/0 for all main power and ground wires. I will be doing this becuase of the draw by my stereo, I have lived with the dimming of my headlights for long enough and am tired of it. Currently I already have a kinetic hc1800 battery and a cap so I am past upgrading thoes. I was just wondering who has done this before and if there are any issues with routing the main wire from the underhood post to the battery.

no its stock wiring except the wires to my amp

What i would do is upgrade the battery ground wire/battery terminal and see how it does from there. If need be then upgrade engine ground/ alt pos. The battery terminal in cobalts is pretty shitty, so replacing it with a better one that allows both the stock wire and the 1/0 batt ground you are adding should make the biggest difference. I would just recommend putting the new ground in a different location that way you cover your bases. sanding the paint under the stock ground might help as well but probably wont do much with the new 1/0 installed
