i believe you put the wire to a ground or somethin, im not too sure but its easy, try a search cause theres a lot of threads about it

What kind of unit do you have?

Rangerondubz 03-21-2008 10:26 AM

My pioneer needed a switch

copson20 03-21-2008 10:47 AM

i have a Clarion MAX685BT

Rangerondubz are you able to tell me how you hook up the switch?

cobaltguy88 03-21-2008 10:51 AM

in most cases, u can just type "Clarion MAX685BT bypass" using google and other audio forums should pop up showing u a bypass code.... i did this for my Jensen 7" touch screen multimedia receiver and it permenantly removed the security feature.. :)

u ground out the green wire..if that doesnt work u attach the green wire to a toggle switch and flip it back and forth it will work

it dosnt have navi dose it ?

i know the new pionner avics and eclipse units use gps to tell if the car is in motion along with the parking break switch...there making it harder and harder..but i dont blame them ....

copson20 03-21-2008 11:06 AM

me neither. but it would be cool for the passenger to watch a dvd while driving on a road trip
