In-Dash Eclipse Flip Out
 

My brother has an Eclipse Flip Out and told me I can buy it from him for 200. I know it works because he had it in his silverao. The only thing that is wrong with it, is that it has an external amp, that is blown. I have the pioneer system. So could I just buy the 20 dollar harness needed for the cobalt and plug it in, and will I be able to bypass the eclipse amp because i already have an external amp. I guess my main issue, is if the amp will cause any problems for me. Thanks

never herd of a HU that comes with an amp externally (mine doesnt have an amp at all in it) are you sure that its not just an amp that he bought seperate from the HU

I checed and the amp is an external amp that came with the deck. I know I can wire a new amp in its place, but will the stock pioneer amp work?

Ill probably get the $20 haness ad wire it up, and see what the outcme is.
