help with radio cluster and ignition switch

Well guys Ive been trying to figure out what's wrong with the car, so a few days ago I shorted out something I just can't seem to figure out what exactly lol I was looking under the steering column and accidently touched the ignition switch wires to a metal piece and it sparked up, suddenly the stereo stopped working it won't turn on at all, the cluster stopped working the needles won't move at all the back light still lights up but that's it, it won't display the miles coolant temp nothing its just black and the ignition switch went bad and had my keys stuck on there, for now I have the ignition switch zip tied so the safety switch/button on the bottom is always pulled back so I'm able to take my keys out, I already check all the fuses on the bcm and there all good at first I thought I fried the bcm but my wipers door lock and a/c all works I also removed the stereo to check the fuse it comes with on the back of the deck and its also good, btw I have an 05 cobalt 2.2 auto any help would be appreciated I tried searching for the same problem I didn't really find something that had all 3 related problems of course I found a lot of other threads related to the ignition switch but nothing like this which involved a short somewhere, sorry for any mispellings

Hey guys here's some pics I took of a ground right next to the stereo under the dash I was wondering if these grounds look good to you or if they are shorted out

Is it just me or shouldn't there be more metal to metal contact with the ground so it can work properly.

I was thinking the same thing on the third pic it seems to me at least, the wires making contact with the bronze ground were melted off, its so frustrating driving without knowing how much gas I have left
