HID question

My halogen bulbs just never seem to last I've had to replace 3 sets over 2 years. so I am looking into a set of HIDs. I am familiar with all of the specs and the wiring etc because i have them in my fogs. Just wondering where is the best place to buy online. No eBay! and im willing to spend no more than 150. I would like to get 5k, 55w, possibly with slim ballasts.

PS i know there are hundreds of threads on HIDs but id like to buy outside the vendors here for personal reasons so don't give me a bs use the search bar.

thanks guys

I had no issues with a $35 kit off of amazon and a $8 relay harness for 3 years, had to replace 1 bulb.

Plain and simple. Theretrofitsource.Com

You can also try diodedynamiks.com.

Also ur gonna get a frown from me for putting hids in a stock housing.

Glws. I buy from Theretrofitsource for almost every retrofit headlight I make.

Do not run 55w HIDs in the stock housing, everyone will hate you and you'll probably get a ticket. No reason to not run 35w.

Retrofits aren't cheap but by far the best option, keep in mind even though you can find cheaper ones the quality of the parts and work isn't there.

I retrofitted mine with 55watt Osram CBI 5500k bulbs. Brightest and Whitest bulbs out there! (using an FXR 3.0 projector)
