How would you power a 3500 watt system? Do u just simply add batteries and a better alternator?

Good power wires, and good grounds. Might be a good idea to run a dedicated 0 gauge run from the alternator to the battery, and also ground your block to the chassis.

If voltage keeps dropping you'll need a high output alternator.

A single good deep cycle battery should power 3500 watts no problem. Look into a odyssey 2150 or similar sized battery.
