yea those are the normal approach i like how the ones i posted are kind of projector like

TommyP 08-19-2011 01:12 AM

I wouldn't use those. You want a bulb that fills the reflector, that's what makes it bright. If you're not directly in front of the car it would appear really dim and hard to notice

yea, they would work pretty good if someone was going to use white colored ones as a fog light or something maybe? otherwise they wouldnt be to seeable as the other person said. i used to have red led lights you could get at autozone but they were all forward facing like that one. its just on bright dot if your directly in front of the light, otherwise you couldnt hardly see it at all

EmperorJJ1 08-19-2011 03:14 AM

yup unfortunately all that is true. looks like a decent idea thou

elecblue06 08-19-2011 09:02 AM

balls .. someone on hid forums was working on an led projector so i liked the idea of this.. but if theres not gonna be any visibility side to side then MEH

Trev 08-19-2011 09:13 AM

hey check out these bulbs they are a total of 5W of power! and they are really bright and very visible! they will fill out the whole reflector since its 5 leds
