Issue with K2 Motor LED tail lights.

Installed them today and wired in resistors. They look great but they don't light up brighter when the brake is applied? The 3rd brake light comes on when the brake is applied but the tail lights remain at the resting brightness...Anyone have any idea? I don't think I wired the resistors in wrong. The How-To I used from here to wire the resistors said to wire 1 end of the resistor to the green/yellow wire and 1 to the black wire, however there are 2 black wires...?

Any help appreciated.

Did you tap the correct wires? Resistor is to be wired to the ground and flash wire. Maybe the plug in is backward?

Beats me. There is 2 black wires. I tried tapping into the other black wire on each side and the tail light wouldn't even turn on..

Yeah one wire of the resistor gets grounded to the ground wire on the car. The other wire gets connected to the flash wire on the car. I can't remember the flash wire color though. Grab a multimeter and check the pins with the flasher on. The one giving you a higher reading is the one you want.

I have one end of the resistor tapped into the yellow/green wire (power wire) and have tried tapping into both of the black wires. When I tapped in to one of the black wires, the tail lights would not light up. When I tapped into the black wire that is currently wired to the resistor, the tail light turns on, but does not get brighter when the brake is pressed. Hope this makes sense.

It was that one but I'm pretty sure they are the same thing just on a different forum.
