Exclamation Question concerning SS/SC Pioneer Sub

A friend of mine recently had his pioneer sub stolen from his car. The sub box was removed, and the wiring harness (IN CAR TRUNK) where the sub connected was cut. He obtained a new factory sub woofer, and wants to re-install it.

What harness will he have to order in order to re-install the sub woofer? I know its the harness in the trunk, and that he NEEDS the plastic connector that plugs into the sub woofer itself.

Thanks,
Chris~

You should be able to cut the other plug and just connect the wires, all the harness did was allow for a easy disconnect plug.

I guess you could do that, but I think he was looking to retain factory appearance, and the connectors. Taro, I sent you a PM concerning your suggestion.

Anyone else know what harness to use, or what wires to wire to what? (From car harness, to sub woofer.) I know there are 4 wires on the harness, and 4 that go into the plug on the sub itself.

Thanks,
Chris~

Haha, yea, but I have to connect the wires first, or else the sub won't work at all. Im taking the pin-out up to a local audio shop that did the secret audio system in our chevelle to make me up a harness and wire it up sans the factory connector.

Thanks guys,
Chris~
