I vote for scythe snake and exsoccer doing a 40 roll always wanted to see basically the two baddest cars on this site go at it
How much is left in that setup ex I know you don't need more for what your doing tho

I made sure I changed those pet peeves of yours!
As we sit right now, he would win. But I would say we're more of the 3rd and 4th spots. With 1 and 2 belonging to Ryan and Matt respectively. we're both still 100+whp below Matt. And don't forget about Chris. Right now he's got the 5speed 1/4mile record even if he's mid 500s in power.
But I plan on selling this engine some time next year and going with a 2.1L and this time running a ported head. Upping the fuel system as well and i'll probably get rid of the 259 for some more fun.

I built it to run 3. 3rd being a fuel pressure gauge. And then an Altronics or Computech EGT box below it. That's why it has such a large surface area instead of just a single row for 3 gauges. The switch on there right now is for the water pump and the controller is in the glovebox.

Speaking on Whitte's part he doesn't mind competition with me though. :P
you love calling me Skythe lol.

Here is how i see it right now. Not dissing, being arrogant, or talking **** just opinion:
1/2: Matt/Ryan
3/4: Cmiller/Scythe_Snake
5/6. Ford/Exsoccer
That is the how I believe it goes. the "/" mean it could go either way. Depends on the type of race, etc.

Personally I don't count what are basically shop cars and y'all are the only two on here running the 259 right. Not trying to start a war but I've always wondered who could make more power on that snail and soccer what happened to the headlights intake

Id say that list is pretty accurate.
I dont consider matt or ryan shop cars though. Everything they run is sold to the public. Hell my first build was ryans old short block before he went 2.1

Well this is a bummer.. I got my new LNF and have recently dumped 4-5 grand into it the past 2 months and kept everything under wraps in hopes of running for July.. fail lol.

Mark you have a great car, it's easily one of the best put together cars on the site, you do great work and nothing is half assed on that car but its just not my style you lost me at the hard core drag car part giant turbo slicks heavy springs can't be fun to drive around town
Ill pass but props are due for a great build
What happened to the video with the gtr should garner more votes around here

As far as "hard core drag car" I don't really see that. The slicks and wheels will only be on there at the track. Daily driving it'll have some RPF1s or PFO1s. It's only a 58mm turbo on a .55 a/r turbine, actually quite small. Slicks aren't even on the car yet, and well anyone who goes to the track and wants the best times should run on slicks. Whether it's just an intake and exhaust or a turbo swap, or you compete or not. There's no point in going "to see what the car does" after all your mods and hard time and money put in to it if you're going to let the cheapest of mods hold you back. While i'm guilty of it, right now I bracket race, the nittos worked so i kept them and focused on other things. Since I bracket race at this point i'm not concerned with low ET. Once I get them on though I will be haha! Springs, eh.. I haven't driven on them yet but i've rode in cars with similar suspension and it's really not that bad. It's not any worse than a car with a TTR upper and poly insert trans mounts.. Bumps and bounces? Eh occasionally but after 10 minutes of driving you don't even notice. As far as i'm concerned it's still a street car. But again it's nice to have people that give real input
The headlight is at the other house. I haven't gotten a chance to work on it since moving down here. It'll hopefully be finished and functional by CED though. Doesn't have much left really.. Just the final forming and contouring and then routing the piping.
