No mold was never for sale. Ex's business is done also...you might be able to get the mold from him...im sure he has it sitting around with the rest of the **** from his business but i have no contact and dont even know how to contact him...nor would i want anyone to purchase anything from him. I'm bumping this blast from the past.
Tonight I came across a post on the cobalt ss/sc Facebook page. Someone mentioned my car. I got a message on fb with a young guy telling me my car now sits in a field in VA covered in weeds and that the owners parents are parting it out. He mentioned he was buying my motor for 1500 bucks. Ok... So... Wtf? So many wtfs with this. Does anyone know where my old Balt is? Because I surely would have re bought it if I knew it was going to be parted out. also, the kid said he was told that my ex cut wires in the car because we were fighting. Bull $hit. Not true.
Buyers beware if anyone comes on ss.net claiming they have badg1rl cobalt parts for sale. Sounds fishy. Seller also mentioned the car had no sunroof... Also a lie. The kid who was going to buy the motor said he will see the car tomorrow and take pics. Just be careful because this most definitely seems like a scam. Also someone please find my old car!!!!!

its really really odd.
So here are some weird things i found out and concluded....whoever has the car now allegedly is parting it.
Now....obviously i know that not everyone is on CSS.net ...but it is the first search engine find you come up with when you look for cobalt forums. Wouldnt you list it on these forums??? i dont see anything.
Obviously to part the car out, you have to have some automotive knowledge.
Why not list the parts here to sell them. Why leave the car out to rot?
i told this kid "buying" the old motor to watch his back. I suspect whoever this is is going to try and pass other parts off as being from my car.
ALso...the sunroof just doesnt magically disappear. And the wiring story also is fishy.
When we built the car, every wire in it that led to anything important was labeled and the wiring was very neatly done...so in the event there was an issue, we could pinpoint it easily without gutting the car.
So...its unlikely someone couldnt fix wiring or that that would be their reasoning for selling the car in parts.
even if it didnt run, someone would have bought it...and realistically aside from the motor, what was this guy going to sell? Purple recaro seats that were factory but custom stitched...a purple hood???? some LEDs, ...the TVs were taken out before i sold it. The car was returned to a more drivable state for daily use. Air bag kit was take out, ....so really the only thing left on any value were brakes...rims and the motor.
THe rest would take forever to sell because they were things which were not of much value or painted to match the car. i dont see him trying to sell 100 different smaller parts.
just seems stupid.
anyway...help me find this car...im so furious A. that someone would allegedly part it...or B. pose as someone who owns my car now and is trying to scam people.

Also if it is legit...and i will find out tonight...i believe the car was stolen.
Cut wires.... left out to rot in weeds etc. sounds to me like someone MAY have stolen the car and is now parting it so its not able to be traced to whoever took it. I dont believe for a moment this kid and his parents who have the car would legitimately make such decisions

I cant believe you found it! So crazy. Wish I could afford to buy it back. Now that I have twin girls I could pass it along to...maybe turn it into part of a wicked Tree house or some **** for them LOL since its beat to **** and far gone.

Looking back at the old thread up above....I wonder if that kid who allegedly was buying the engine found out he was buying something from someone elses car...but I love how someone tried to pass the parts off as coming from my old car. what an ass.
