I might be the only one, but, I don't really like it. I never like "SHow" cars. THey kinda don't do anything well. Its got a twin charger for power but yo know she never drives it. Its got a rediculous system but how often does she listen to it? Handeling bits for what? The car probaly hasen't seen a fast sweeper ever. So many gauges.. it doesnt run for more than 5 minutes to get it out of the trailer and onto the floor. Seems like a waste to me.
Waste of time to you, Peice of heaven to her. I like it tho that your getting your opinion out, but a lot of us think our cars express who we are, the car = art in a way. and every little thing in that car was a peice of her because of all the ideas and planning that went into it. Love that car tho Donna, wish i could have one 1/100th as nice as that
I completely agree with moza13. That car is a work of art. The twin charging does make it more than show. Even if it is only moved from trailer to the floor for 5 minutes it's her car. Everyday when i see my cobalt "which doesn't compare to hers" I feel a sense of pride. For her she get's the same thing and than some as people admire it at shows. As a kid most of us on here had model cars and still probably do. Well this is her toy car just a lot bigger ;-) and more expensive. So don't call it a waste, if you have the means than why the hell not. So Donna keep doing your thing. end of rant :-)

Fantastic job, Donna.
Glad you got pics of that in the changing light so we all can see how the color morphs.
I would love to see those Seats with the Suede inserts and stitching. That's something I've been toying with doing to my car, but just in black or gray.
While I'm sure the car polarizes people's opinions, I doubt anyone can harp on the level of imagination and the time and $$ that was spent on the car.
While I'm not a show car fan in general, I think the car was executed well and has a cohesive theme, instead of just throwing stuff at the car becuase you can.
I'm curious as to how the car runs with the Twin-charge.
Congrats on the car of the month!

thanks everyone. right now i still have a few things that i need to do before i start driving the car regularly. it, right now, is not being driven due to the fact that the one off turbo hasnt been running 100%.... The car does run, is drivable. the idling is a little weird and i cant risk breaking down right now....i need to get a good tune for the car before driving it on a regular basis as blowing the motor would suck and i think i would freak out if i got stuck somewhere in like sub zero weather.
Around NY every summer is where the fun is at. Most people with show cars go to a local meet every Tuesday at a place called Bald Hill. Its a huge car show every tuesday and cruise. Thats when all the show cars come out to play. so i plan on being out there all summer and driving the car to and from. i also have friday nights at Deer Park avenue where most people go to meet up and street race. i meet about 10 other cobalt owners and weve become friends with the srt club out there. sometimes we hang out, or go out to dinner etc. so ill be out there with the car as well...plus weekends and some days during the week ill be driving the car to work...as long as its not a night i get stuck working at GAP because i wont park the car in a unsecure lot...my full time job i have nothing to worry about since its a small parking lot and a handful of people i actually trust not to try and steal something. LOL.
Of course i will be hitting most of the east coast car big car shows. HIN, Funk Master Flex, etc. Its eexpensive to show...about 250 bucks a show because of electric, 50 bucks to register, then hotel and gas and tolls....its like 500 bucks a weekend which gets intense...but its fun.
anyway, hope you all enjoy. here are some interior shots.

Thanks for the interior shots, Donna.
Love the suede (sp?) inserts on the Recaros. I have the "regular" SS seats, and that has inspired me to look into further.
Too bad the burgh and NYC aren't closer, or I'd come out and see it at a cruise / show.

Congrats on featured car (FINALLY!)
Are you (Donna) by chance going to the Ocean City show in Maryland this year? If so, I think I will have to make the trip out there to see this beauty in person!
Congrats again!
