there will never be a intake on the car, actually when u install a filter on the end of a turbo is decreases the hp. i have a metal screen over the inlet of the trubo witch is there to keep **** from going into the turbo.
thanks for the comment too man, lots of long hard work into this car, also planning a new build were its a different swap, already have the block and head, tranny, and starting the building of that now, once i get the motor head and tranny fully built i will be getting axels custom made, and everything installed, its gonna be what i think a 2 year project, but gotta pay my debt off 1st.

One of the best 2.2 balts I've ever seen.

Just curious, what is your car putting out? And do you have any track times?

so how tightly stitched is this mesh on your car that replaces the intake? Because Im almost positive even micro particles will eventually seize an engine.

Bring it down?

Ok, lets get it straight, i don't mean to insult anyone, but plain and simple it's not an SS. It's impressive, sure, but it's not an SS. So it shouldn't have the badges. I don't understand the need for them. I don't have a single one on my car, and it actually is one.

It has more hp/tq than the ss of that year, thats all I was saying. Just a little different way of looking at it, and trying to get him to take the badges off

No idea, the screen is from a screen door, i have friends that have well over 40,000km on theirs and they dont even have a screen on their turbo, but they also run hondas

Oh they are coming off, im putting LS-T on instead

Soon enough this car will be one of a kind, it will be going away for 2 yrs this winter, and the project will start if my mechanic wants to tackle this job with me.
i had a full tube chais made up for the car and fitted to it was a 355, with a turbo 400 tranny and a 12 bolt rear end but thats a long term project for a full fiber glass track car this car will be crazy fast when its done, right now it spools boost at 1,500RPM, makes Full 20PSI at 2,200RPM raced a Stock SS TC blew the doors off it, as well as a stage 2 SRT-4, the car is fast, but the numbers that were put down on the dyno were stupid low, but the car also runs super super super rich, looks like a deisel at some points when under WOT

thanks man, means alot!
i built this car from the bottom up, i look at my car and can say everything you see was done by myself, except the exhaust, that was done else where.
the car was built last year made 217whp and 213tq, this year new numbers will be tomorrow
hoping it broke 300whp but hard to say, its been running super rich sense april so i have bad feelings that i washe dthe cylinders.
