Looks good Ang...I didn't know you were planning on slammin' 'er this year ! The car looks much more sleek/sporty with that wheel gap filled. Now you can park yours beside Sean's without looking like you're getting ready to go offroading (j/k) .

For real Ryan... I wasn't planning on installing them at first but everytime I look at Sean's I get jealous so I had to do it. Anyway, since she'll be sleeping this winter, I said, what the hey...let's get it done. I am very happy with the springs and even happier with the install!!!

Thanks Mercury. I had a 4 wheel alignment done and while most people will say it is not necessary with our cars I just felt better having it done which is why I indicated I was very happy with the intsall. Installed by my dealer and if anything goes wrong with the set-up I just take it back to them. I figure I paid a little more now but I will save big in the end, especially if I sell the car later and I have all records to prove mods were dealer installed.

nice drop, reminds me of the Sprints

I know on my Ion with a significant drop like that I had more caster and toe issues than I did camber.

Stock handling is great and these Sportilnes provide a little less roll but not a significant improvement over stock. However, I am very impressed with the ride quality. I expected a lot more bounce and drama on bumps but that hasn't been the case so far. I was happy with the stock handling but I didn't like the wheel gap, esp. in the rear.

Your dealer will most likely quote you flat rate fees which is 1 hour labor for the rears and 2 hours for the front, but you may be able to negotiate better. I got a free oil change worth $110 out of my deal so I thought that was fair pricing. Oh yeah, they will talk you into getting a 4 wheel alignment. It's up to you whether you want to dish out for that...I recommend it but to each their own I guess. Good luck if you decide to do it!!

Have you taken it through any turns et to compare the handling? The only reason i would do mine would be to improve the handling.

Nothing extreme yet but I can feel a difference like I mentioned previously with respect to less roll. Steering feels a little more responsive because of it. However, I have to say it again...I am prettt happy with the stock handling and installed more for the look. if you're happy with the stock handling and don't see any value in lowering for appearance purposes then you might want to consider putting your cash towards other performance mods. You may want to wait for a full system which includes springs and struts but as far as I know there is anything out there yet for our cars.

Yeah i prob will just do an anti-sway bar in the rear if someone ever makes one Dang they got the one out for the 2.2 I WANT ONE FOR THE SS S/C please..... I feel as though the stock handling will get worse with lowering so i'll just stick with it.

The drop definately looks sick. How much / how difficult are these to install? I'd like to do this someday. The Cobalt definately looks sweet dropped.

Speaking of going off roading...

I loved when I would go to Accord meets when I still had my Honda. We'd all be lined up next to eachother for the group shot. All the cars would be dropped...then there was my Jeep looking ****. haha!

Yep. They actually commented on the Eibach Sportlines and the suspension technician said it was a good quality spring kit. They even liked my Fujita CAI and didn't say anything about warranty. These guys are really cool (Wilson-Niblett Chev Corvette - Richmond Hill, Ontario) and I know would go to bat for me if I ever had warranty claims with GM.
