BPV/BOV for the BNR GT2871?
I have my tuned from trifecta. i heard they were conservative so I went with them as a beginner tune, nothing too crazy. I just dont know where there are any good tuners around where I live. I don't know how to use HPtuners.
Meh, it's just a number really. There are many other factors involved than just peak hp numbers. Torque curve, hp curve, boost curve, ect ect. It's all relative to real world numbers and even quite simply down to the dyno you're on. I may run on a dyno other than the one I normally tune my cars on and make 470whp. Yet I could jump on another different dyno and make 415whp with the setup and tune unchanged. It's really relative to base vs modded on the same dyno for a true gains comparison.
Either way, 437whp isn't really pushing the limits for how I have my car setup. The stock internals aren't really THAT weak.. lol.. Not to mention I only rev my engine to only 6800rpm and ramp in boost pretty slowly. I could EASILY make more power with my setup, I however choose not to at this point for my own reasons. Large boost spikes down low are especially killers though. The amount of pressure and heat generated in a combustion chamber when cramming 28psi into an engine at 3500rpm is pretty incredible.
Do you happen know what the seat pressure is on the Werks springs?

I had 442whp on stock internals... no valve springs either on 93 back in early 09
no fueling tables yet no boost control tables either. made it work some how
his numbers are good though. no doubt.
the guys that complain about our springs not being duals... well I haven't honestly really seen the need for it. with some testing we have done we can adjust the seat pressure and get these to rev out to 9k if we wanted. when I see the street cars start revving out that far we might release a that version but even the midget cars are running to 8500 with out single springs in there..... not a single failure.

Conservative? I wouldn't really agree with that. I can show you logs showing otherwise. Problem is their tunes are junk. This really isn't a matter of opinion on my part, but take it for what it's worth. This isn't a reflection on your car by any means btw, so don't take it was such. It's a reflection of his tuning abilities.
Vince is a good programmer and not so much of a good tuner. he can unlock code really well and do all that. he runs either too rich or too lean it seems. never finds the sweet spot. lots of timing and Knock I've seen in some... Vince will give you exactly what you want. if you want 26 degrees of timing and 28 psi on a stock turbo that's what your getting.
Remote tuning works like this:
you buy HP tuners. and then you find a reputable tuner that knows LNFs. Our cars a very picky and most shops dont know how DI works.
You install it on your laptop, and then you plug in the Cable to your OBD2. Usually the tuner you pick will send you a config file they want you to load. it has custom PIDs or custom tables they lik to look at
you click "start" and it begins logging those custom tables.
You do some WOT pulls, some normal driving etc. Your tuner will usually ask you to do these things before hand.
You then save that log, and email it to them.
They make changes
and then email it back to you. You flash it using HP Tuners and your laptop. and the process starts again until you and your tuner are comfortable with the tune.
This is why its key to find someone who knows what they are doing, and won't turn codes off for no reason or give you something unsafe. Barring other stupid things, a good tune will do wonders for motor longevity.
