Hahn or Vulcan?
turbo intake manifold... looks, function, performance, how do you like it?
oppinions? |
never seen the vulcan, heard bad things about the quality of manufacturing on the forums though
ive seen the hahn on 2 cars and its nice quality, port fueler is nice, no install issues from manufacturing defects thats my .02 |
this ^^^
i'm not leaning on the hahn one for the portfueler option. i'll have my own setup going for that
these are for the LSJs or LNFs 2
i'm an LSJ. i have no idea if theres would work on the LNF
i remember there was one guy that put the vulcan on his 2.2 as a normal manifold though lol bump, more oppinions please |
maybe have someone make you one? just throwing that out there
possibly. i'ld rather have that done for the turbo manifold. not the intake. but people seem to like the vulcan turbo manifold.
bump
Just talked someone through some help cause they welded the TB flange on wrong on the vulcan, which ive heard happening more than once.
He also was explaining that the sensors wouldnt bolt right up, hes saying they have drilled holes for fittings and he was saying he would have to run a hose from his map, to a fittingo the intake manifold, which doesnt sound right to me at all... The hahn is way nicer.. looks way better.. and also has a better design... the way the hoses and sensors bolt up is just ease over the vulcan. hahn > all.. I have it so i can tell you how swee this thing is. |
im going with the stg 5 S20G turbo from Hahn and should be installed shortly. Hahn is well known and just that reason alone I would go with them because more cars have went through there products so you know a little more what to expect.
got any pictures? and is the hahn racecraft logo actually engraved in there? or is it their decal? cause i'm going to have everything powdercoated black
The hahn shit is awesome.. trust me.

i like the look of the hahn one. im just not sure if i like their name engraved in it(even though it IS their product, i like the simple look)
Hahn's quality of work is miles ahead
so is their price...
one thing I have to ask before I spend over 4k into this, Is there a huge power gain like Hahn states on there site? JW.
i would say yes its definitely worth it.
