is this a good kit!!

im really looking to turbo my car but i cant decide on a kit how is this one?

what hp gains would i be looking at and what engine mods would i need to run at 15-20lbs of boost. i have a 2007 cobalt ls with a 2.2 5 speed.

Stage 3 adds 11 psi and 150+ HP, 12 sec power

Includes:

Bullseye s256 extended tip turbo
Powdercoated charge piping
Liquid/air Intercooler
Heat exchanger
IC pump with lines
All stainless and aluminum tubing
Includes 304 stainless 2.5" downpipe
ZZP 304 stainless turbo manifold
All feed and drain oiling lines
silicon boots
Stainless clamps
Custom tuned PCM
TiAL 38mm wastegate kit
Blow off valve
All installations accessories
60# injectors
Intake tubing and filter
Spark plugs
2 bar map
-More HP and custom configurations available with at customer request

-Premium fuel required

If you desire more than 15psi of boost, we recommend upgraded to boost reference fuel pressure, upgraded fuel pump wiring and a larger fuel pump. But the boost reference fuel system isnt activated until 17+psi of boost.

zzp knows their **** with this stuff. I was talking with tim when dynoing my car and we were discussing that turbo set up. Be prepared to go through tires. My only issue with it is the liquid to air intercooler. I perfer the air to air for street use when going turbo.

If the kit is accurate and add 150hp you will need to invest in some new internals. Rods and pistons go out at 250 I believe in the 2.2L.

Totally speculation, i mean gm did test it and says it will not handle more than 250, but there where alot of variables in testing.... Push it till it pops ,lol....

Can't wait to put mine on the dyno, cause i have a feeling the numbers are going to suprise a few people, but it could suprise me and only make 200hp who knows, lol... The 2.2l is a good engine and it's my opinion that they will take a bit more than what people speculate with a GOOD TUNE!!! I say go for it, zzp has some nice stuff.... I do however believe this kit is for a 2.4 and the tuning wil not work, also i doubt your gains will be the same due to a different compression ratio...

hey make a kit for both the 2.2 and the 2.4...i could get a different comp ratio due to changing the pistons though.

Cool i haven't looked into it in a while, but i think it would be badass, go for it.... You don't have to run 20psi, your best bet is to get it up and running with the turbo on it, try it at 10psi, then if you feel like you need more go from there.... FYI, the s256 is no joke turbo, it pumps some serious air!!!
