Is it SUPPOSED to be a bitch to remove the stock supercharger pulley? Any advice?

never done it personally--there might be a howto in the appropriate section: just do a quick search, and prepare to buy or rent yourself a pulley puller

taking off the pulley was really easy, and it was also simple to put it back on, as long as you rent the tool from ZZP. Now get ready for a headache when you try to machine your snout.

I have the ZZP puller right now. I'm putting an unbelievable amount of force into screwing it to pull the pulley off, it's making me a bit nervous.

I got it guys, thanks.

zzp rents the snout machining tool.putting the hub on is easy, just use a power steering pulley installer or a nut bolt some grease and a couple washers.

lol, I just used a big wrench...it worked. I had to have my sister sit on the s/c though to prevent it from rolling.

Hopefully you kept going until you heard a pop seriously you think it can't be on this tight then it falls off and you're like 'whew'. Trygetting a pulley hub off....mine popped 4 times. I kept waiting and it finally fell off the end.

I seen where ZZP's pulleys now can go down to a 2.6 without maching the snout.

some can....some can't...the snouts are different sizes (different amounts of material around it).
