Tial BOV question

What kind of spring do I need in order for the BOV to not flutter? The spring currently in the BOV seems to be too strong and causing flutter. The ZZP intercooler kit with Tial BOV has the white painted spring.

That sounds like compressor surge but I dunno.

Where is your vac line comming from? i had a problem with mine, when i got it and i was using the stock BPV line, it would cause it to surge. cap that line off, and T into the main line that goes into the intake maifold...

Did the same thing u did and it surged, after I turbo swapped no surge my bov doesn't even go of til after 18lbs normal driving u wouldn't even kno it was there, I have the Tial Type Q and a precision 5857.

is there any way for you to adjust preload on the tial? I had a preload spring in my synchronic, it ran best when i just took it out.

No preload, The springs goes off of your Vac reading, But you have to make sure that its using the mainfold vaccum, If not its going to be a pain in the ass

i dont have an LNF but the stock spring that came with my tial made the car flutter which sounded like shit. i ended up having to use their weakest spring and it cured my problem.
