ok soo curiosity killed the cat with this one..so i have zzp's 50 mm bov ..i went to take the fitting off the top for the vac lne just to see how it worked in there soo i could get a better understanding on the best route to run vac lines..and to my suprise..ping! ..fu&*ing spring goes fying out into my engine bay ..lost hope..cannot find it for the fing life of me ..now i know its a tial mock up ..but the tial does not have this spring in the top vac fitting(hence i was so surprised when it went flying out..im looking in there and theres nothing mechanical that moves or anything ..could that spring just be to keep a little tenson on the bolt if i loosen it? or is there a valve that flew out to ?i am getting vac issues (very low vac ..boost guage reads -10) but im not sure thats the problem because this setup is knew and this happined b4 i put on the boost gauge soo i have no idea what vac i was getting b4 the spring was gone..and i also put on another bov i had (a ebay one that i wouldnt want to use but tried to to see if it would hold more ) and no changes i got the same -10 with that bov on aswell soo i dont think that missing spring is causing an issue but ide like to kno if any1 knows what its for and where i can get a knew one ?

The only spring i know off inside the zzp bov is the normal big bov spring and ive taken mine apart a good 5-6 times.

That's a pretty big spring to lose and do you mean you took off the lid to the bov not the vac fitting because the spring isn't fitting out of that little hole.

Did you try to get in contact with ZZP and get another spring?
