The #01 Georgian Bay Motorsports / SCADAPACK Chevrolet Cobalt took first place at VIR today. The Cobalt moved up to 1st from a 4th place finish at the Daytona Rolex 24 back in January.
This isn't the first time the Cobalt SS has taken a first place at a grand am cup event. It took several first place wins in the 2005 season, stay tuned for more details.

If you try to drive "smooth", the car just pushes anround the corners. To get around a hard left hander, you literally approach the corner turning slightly right, stab and release the brakes to upset the backend, then toss it as hard as you can to the left.
The car REALLY shines in the slalom! Unlike most cars, you can go in fast and hold just enough throttle to keep your speed and turn in before the cones. The back of the car will hang out in a constant, controlled, drift and you can transition almost as fast as you can turn the wheel. If the front end gets around the cone, your home free!
Come to an event in North East Florida, I'll ride with you and give you pointers or take you for a ride and show you what the car can do. It's a blast!!!!
You can even take a ride in the Vette if you want...
