I just got my ss/tc balt on new years. Averaged 32.2mpg driving it home to NC from Louisiana. So far after that ive been averaging around 30.5mpg. I have a 65mile trip to work one way at (70-80mph) with some spirited driving thrown in as well. I feel i could get close to 34mpg if i could keep my foot out of it and drive the speed limit, but wheres the fun in that lol.
most i ever got was 411 miles to 1 tank of gas, going 85 with the cruise set the whole time
and that was fully bolted and tuned

Yes that is really far off sebleroux08/TC...Is your avg MPG super low and your computer is going off your previous bad MPG? It always says 600km+ after a fill-up for me. How is your Oil Life after 5,000km? if it's below 60% you are driving pretty hard, above 75% and your driving like a baby, anywhere in the middle and your average.
as the page link will tell you, 100% stock
SS (Chevrolet Cobalt) | Fuelly
I frequently see 400+ miles as the estimated range after fuel up. Oddly enough ,the DIC always reads between 28-29 mpg avg.
I once every other month will run the tank out of gas just to keep the fuel pump immersed in gas to dissipate any heat and keep it as long lived as possible.
Best tank, 37mpg aggregated, Average over20k mileso f tracking, 30.6mpg. By monitoring the fuel economy I have discovered LNFs do not care for the cold

I've been running 358km per day ( for the past 5 days and getting at lowest 30.8mpg and highest 33.8 mpg. This is driving backroads/small towns for a 1/4 at 50-95kph, and highway for the last 3/4 at 110-130kph, small bit of crawling traffic on the way home aswell. This week was also extremly windy and weather was all over the place. I drive for quickest time not for gas and I still make great mpg. Driving at near 3,000rpm for 234km I really wish Gm would've put in a 6-speed.
im averaging like 19 or 20 MPG calculated by me not the DIC. and this is mainly driving pretty slow with only a couple spirited runs. how the hell do ppl get 28+????? ohh and maybe 70% highway.

My record for 1,800 miles consistent was 39.5mpg calculated. All Highway at 85-90mph. Uhaul got about 7-8mpg following the Cobalt at those speeds. LOLZ

i went from cuba, nm to soldier summit, UT last weekend before my low fuel light came on with 56 miles left to empty. was averaging over 40mpg. dont think that station in cuba used 10% ethanol so mpg was awesome.
My highest is 31mpg that was after an hour and a half of highway racing my friends 05 tibiron.... a good hour of it was on the200kmh mark, seems the faster i go the better milage i get. I smoked his hyundai btw
Unless you are manually calculating the MPG and fuel range those numbers don't mean crap. Especially if you are on e85. My e60 tune makes my dic read 33mpg cruising on the highway when in reality I'm getting almost exactly 20% less

think I'm doing something wrong !
