Question On 2006 SS/SC

Hi i might be taking over my girlfriend brother payments on his cobalt ss/sc its got a the reco seats in it and the limited slip i think and the different springs. But i'm asking is its a pretty good car to get has a daily driver. i'm going to keep it pretty stock. It also already has the cold air in it he brought it that way. I just need some review on the car has a daily driver like. How does it do on gas and in the winter all that stuff. And it will be stock ss/sc

you'll need a set of winter tires for the snow and ice likely in Colorado winters. Otherwise it's a great Daily driver.

ussually Tire Rack will have a sale and for about $600 shipped you can get some 16" steel rims with winter tires. Thats a great price for the security that winter tires bring.

My 94 Cavalier with snow and ice tires drives better in the snow then my 01 S10 w 4wd does with All-terrain tires (ZR2). lots easier to get around too.

I paid $400 to put winters on the stock rims of the Cavalier, 15" so I think $600 for rims and tires is a great deal. Spent almost that on New summers for the Cobalt.

I still have mine from when I was stationed in Wyoming. They are practically new on 16" steelies. Maybe have 400-500 miles on them. If you are interested let me know, they are just taking up space in my garage. And we don't get snow here
