just asking. when im trying to save gas i typically shift at 2k and cruise at 1.5k unless im going higher speeds. this means ill be in 4th at 30mph. lol. but it gives good fuel economy for me i suppose. i get 22-24mpg with a lot of wot runs in between.

damn dart... thats the worst question and post i ever seen you... post haha but i'll be the first to answer it. If i was cruising in philly (mad stop signs and lights) i get around 24-25 mpg if im light. if i roll thru stop signs and keep it in 2nd. i never EVER came to complete stop. thats just dumb unless theyre is cars on the other end obviously. my rpms are always aboving 1500 for sure. i shift at 3k on the dot 3100 going into 4th (save your stock clutch sticky). It does work because im at 86k and stage 2˝ since 25k. i run my car at least 2 digs a weekend. now next week my clutch is gonna take a poop. so im gonna knock on my work desk (knock knock). and we'll see what happens

p.s. i cruise 2200 or above

2200-2500rpm because my car feels like it doesn't like being at 2000 or less.

I usually try to shift around 2k because if ur takin it easy u can do it without using the clutch (i.e., 10 mph, 20 mph, 20 and 35) and idk what my real mileage is because i always beat on it if im not doing that lol.

but the car doesn't like real low rpms it kinda shakes and has no power sooo idk otherwise 3-4ish

shift at 3k for first and second then 3rd to get to the speed limit then 5th. Im in 4th gear through subs(25mph) Get on it pretty good in 1st and 2nd then just cruise. Fast start=better mpg. Not wot but like 70%ish throttle. I get 26-28mpg with about a 50/50 mix of city/highway. Yes i get on it at least 4 times in one tank lol. Talk to this kid matt (BlackLsCoupe) he'll tell you all about hyper mileing lol. Im always in 5th gear at any speed above 35.

I usually putt around at 1300ish, so at 55Km/hr I'll be in 5th @ 1200or so, I drive concessions to work though (long straight flat country roads) and I can achive amazing mileage. This pic is what I can pull typically rolling on flat roads, no I'm not idling, going downhill w/e this is true, I can do between 40-50MPG on a normal nice day not being hurried.

Gotta treat your has pedal like its made of crystal lolol! driving like this is boring as **** though, but I can go a LONG time on a tank

I average 32mpg almost exactly between fill ups (but i have an n/a 2.2) thats shifting at 3k on the dot in first and second, then as i gain my cruising speed will just put it in the highest gear possible. if i need to speed up i wont let my car bog down massivley in fifth and floor it at 35 mph in fifth. i obviously will down shift to pick up my speeds. i find the best economy when i cruise in fifth as often as possible then to pick up speeds just revmatch and down shift to alloted gear. And i do beat on it on occasion also almost too ofen and still see 31mpg+

P.S. i had a trunk full of beer food and cloths a cabin packed with me and my buddies, reset both my average speed and fuel econ in cincinnati, drove all the way to myrtle beach averaging 39mpg and 77mph. i'd say that's not bad at all

I drive from Chicago to Detroit often and have found 39-41mpg averaging about 75-79. While I am driving through the city i keep it in gear longer about 4000rpm in first and second simply because i dont have to downshift from light to light but Im off the gas a lot getting free mileage

im going to try 77 mph. i found 68-69 to be a sweet spot to hit 35mpg. lets see what happens on this trial and error. 60mph i actually lose mpg's however i drive through spots where 25 mph is STRICTLY enforced so i would cruise in 3rd @ 25-26mph. id get 50mpg. im like yesssssssss hahahaa
