Lol I have the best story, I was racing at moroso one night and I kept running next to this guy in an 05 Jaguar XJR, the thing was puttin down well over 400hp and I have my auto LT, and on my last runt hat nite I smoked him on R/T and then I look to my left after we passed the 1/8th mile and I was still half a car length ahead of him, but once he kicked it into 3rd he pulled away but I only lost by a second, lol. If i have the slip I'll post it I have a dozen of them chillin in my glove box.

Ok sorry I can't find the damned time slip back but the best my LS has seen (MikeSS took it for a rip) is 16.1 @ 85.5mph. Can't remember the 60ft but this included the spare and tires @ 32psi. Temperature is I remember correctly was between 10 and 12 celcius...it was pretty cold. If I come across it I'll post but ever since I moved I can't find half my **** back anymore .

I've been to Moroso Motorsports Park a bunch times with my 06 LT coupe. Theres over a dozen slips sitting in my car right now, lol. Its pretty funny to see me whomp cars with 300 more hp off the line when the driver sucks and feathers the gas, lol. The auto is pretty decent for launching considering its hp. The torque is really good for its class, the best i think. Like I said I've had some issues with my stock tires and Im waiting on new ones, so ive only ran a best 16.7 @ 81mph, I have a few little things I'm gonna do different next time and I should be able to get a little lower. This car, especially with the 2.2 has a ton of potential. If worst comes to worst we can swap in the new Ecotec Turbo motors. In fact GM has the Rhys Millens new Pontiac Solstice GXP running over 500hp on the E85fuel. Its all Ecotec baby, hell yea! lol.

Yeah, I know, jenny craig is a 1-800 number, ya fat ****.
I'm working on it. I figure if i dump 120lbs, maybe I'll get a tick quicker.

i dont have a ls, but to just quickly add to the automatic launching. my best friend has a 02 GT auto. with all seasons and just mufflers he has pulled 2.15-2.20 60ft times. its much easier to launch an auto due to there being less variables. u just brake rev and go. much more consistant.
and for an ls sticking with a gt thru 2nd gear.. thats about 60 or so mph and there is no way with a GT pullin 0-60 times of high 5's and an ls pullin 0-60 times of 7+ seconds.. no offense he wasnt lauching and even then probably didnt kno he was racing, bc i launch the hell outta my car and i fall behind to about his door after the 2nd gear shift (most of the time-sometimes i stay even) and then pull during third

16.19 bone stock
I don't have the physical drag ticket, but this was spot on to the actual one.
I got a 16.191 @ 80mph. completely stock with a 60ft of 1.7 sec. The 1/8th was 10.165.

yea, i was runnin stock tire pressure, plus the car was at 1000 miles, still a baby, its more broken in now (also my 1st time to the track with a manual)
if i lower the tire pressure im sure i could hit a 2.2
the point of this thread was to see what the lowest time was
i was gonna submit my time to www.car-stats.com but i threw out my slips
