I see what you mean about less rotating mass with a smaller converter but the smaller race units don't really weigh that much less and they create some serious heat by slipping but I guess once it has hooked the power loss might not be so great? Anyway's you see what I mean by many variables involved. By the way I hear that Mustang dyno's are a breed all by themselves and that they typically read 15-20 lower than a typical chasis dyno. Tell us how fast your Comet is and how much it way's so we can punch in the numbers to see what it say's- and as I said before this is just a calculation based on power to weight ratio so please don't expect it to be more than it is.
