Clear Bra Install $$$???
 

I have had a 3m clear bra for about 7 months now and I think I finally decided to get it put on. I havent gotten a call back from the place I called, but he specializes in this stuff and does window tinting too.

For all you guys that have had clear bras put on, about how much did it cost?

anyone?

They wanted $225 and I dont have the cash so its up for sale!!! in the classifieds

Im not sure, i did my front end myself, but the place where i got mine done was close to that. But CDN funds.

was it tough to do it yourself?

Heck no. just grabbed a squirt bottle full of water, soaked the area i apply to, and throw the bra on. You NEED a stiff squegee to squegee all the air and bubbles out, and it just takes time.
It's like squegeeing your windows, but with the vinyl in between. Get the water out, and don't move the bra too much. The hardest part is the nose (mine anyway) because it was a one piece design, and took a lot of time (1.5 hours) to get it squegeed out and set right. But the more flat the surface is, the easier it is. (mirrors, fenders, hood, a-pillers, rocker panels) Just all the curves in the front end made it a pain.

Really, if your paint looks good up front now, you will kick yourself for not putting this on. If its already chipped up a lot, it probably is too late.

And the best part about it? You can't tell its even there. And i have it covering my whole front end, the lower half of the hood, front fenders halfway, A-pillars, rockers, rear fenders halfway, mirror caps and just behind the rear wheels.
