Cobalt w/Regency package? Wth?
Has anyone ever heard of a Regency package for the cobalts? Lol or did this guy get duped by a dealer? I have a hard time believing GM put on aftermarket springs, body kit, wheels, and by the looks of it face plates for the gauges too. and all for just an additional $5k too
2007 Chevy Cobalt 5-Speed*** MUST SEE! |
Definitely factory
Totally factory. Kinda like all the cars in the fast and the furious
i wish i coulda got this when i got the g5!
Not going to lie i like the exhaust... but the front bumper is the ugliest ever made for cobalts.
they actually did put the razzi body kit on cobalts from the factory at times.
5k? hell, if i were buying it, i'd demand all that crap come off

I believe factory. Back in the day I want to say I saw a few getting on the trucks like that. The 'SS-T' packages or whatever. but I could be wrong. Its been a while.
i just assumed it was one of those "GM approved" items in the catalogue. IIRC, those kits were made pretty well, just UGLY |
from what i understand Regency Restyling took 7 brand new Cobalts and made these "Regency Editions" and shipped them out to dealers to be sold, so they are rare to find, but the paint kills this one for me...
But for 5 grand? That seems ridiculous. Why would anyone pay another 25-30% more for this, and not just get the SS/SC?
I will agree, the exhaust doesn't look bad. I've seen other base cobalts with that rear lip and exhaust setup before and thought it didn't look half bad. |
damn work network.

More like uncommon, they are only "rare" where there is a demand with no supply. I dont think anyone is demanding these. Same way it works with SS sedans, we love them on the forum, but whats that like 350 daily active members? The general public doesnt know what the car is, and if your like me and you try to explain it to several guys that drive WRX's, they just nod and go "ya whatever bro, still shitty chevy, have fun with traction" This car SUCKS! |
I dont mind the paint to much...
What I do mind is that ugly ass front bumper. I will however take that rear bumper for my car :D |
I hate it, so much...
For the most part. I saw quite a few Cobalts with the Razzi body kit, Rims (Motegi and Enkei), unique pinstripe or side vinyls and painted calipers. Don't think they came with the springs though, painted engine bay/grille and headlights. Exhaust is different too. But yeah, they came from the factory with that stuff.
Here's one from the dealer http://www.octanemotorsports.com/images/196-100--H.jpg It's a G5 but still. |

if it wasnt for the front bumper sticking out a foot they wouldn't be half bad. they should of at lease SC'd them to make people want them
oh hey there is a local guy that has the "Regency" package also. I thought it was ugly as hell lol.
:barf:
Hideous
god that front bumper makes it look like it has down syndrome or something
rims are nice and the hood is ok
I was thinking dealer rice ...... is there such a thing as factory rice? haha
