ar care tips?

tomorrow im going to detail my car... if the rain stops that is..

im using turtle wax. any tips on applying it?

should 1 clay bar be enough for the entire car?

what can i use to make the rims shine?


any other tips?

One clay bar will last a long time. You can take just a section of the clay bar and reuse it a few times. As far as application goes, follow the directions on the container. Use microfiber towels as opposed to cotton because cotton may cause swirls.

Experienced detailers seem to say that the prep work is what gives the best results. Which would include claying and polishing before applying wax. I've had good results with Pooboy's World products. I prefer using a sealant because it lasts longer than wax. Some people add wax on top of sealant to add more depth. You have to be careful though because most waxes have a cleaner in them that will strip the sealant when you apply it. So you would need to find a carnuaba wax without any cleaner in it if you wanted to go that route.
