#60's injectors with out a tune for right now or will it hurt my car.. also is there a tuner in florida that could tune me?

Don't do it you'll waste fuel, and possabilly damage something running rich. and with the price of it now... what part of Florida are you in??? there are meny accomplished tuners around, just need to know where you located???

u can do the bigger injectors. ur still only gonna pump a limited amt of fuel into your motor unless u tune it to put more in. its like the aveo, i can use injectors from a v8 trailblazer and put them in place of my original ones but unless i have a setup to force more fuel thru them, it wont do much of anything except let u say that i have blah blah injectors. my .02

where in fla?

Red2.4SS 03-12-2008 05:07 PM

Injector change w/o tune is very bad!!! Your ECM cannot properly control the fuel.

?? I hope your kidd'n. Bigger injectors means that for each pulse the PCM gives the injector, more fuel can flow through the injector. It's like putting bigger jets in the carbs on the older vehicles. The bigger they are, the more they flow.

If your PCM is not not tuned to use it, you will be dumping WAY too much fuel than you need. You don't force more fuel through them. More fuel will FLOW through them per pulse anyways.

its like throwin a hotdog down a hallway basically
