Rockstar asked about polishing stuff. I stay away from that, powdercoating parts becomes such an issue. But I recently saw some polished parts and decided to send some parts away to be done. I recommend this guy unreservedly, best in the business.

In this picture, the rocker cover is powdercoated by us, its a chrome two stage process and not bad.

But look closely at the supercharger. That is polished. Amazing.

great work. Two words, one reason Euthanasia.

Junior Herman is the man for polishing no doubt. Some time I will post up pictures when my LSJ redline gets out for the spring ( when it wams up)

I know its not a Powell thing, but if I can go to some one who does the best, then off i go. I dont make superchargers, either. I run the 1320 Harrop TVS

I was going to ask if this was Junior's work. I ran a P&P head he did on my LSJ and it was awesome. I wish I could afford to send him my SS wheels to polish them up. Of course I could give it a try and see how it ends up. No where near as good as that M62 though!

I am in two minds about wheels. We have a lot of Corvette customers who buy John Purners CCW wheels, he does a very nice billet CNC polished wheel. But its a wheel. I am sort of stuck on the TC wheel just like it is, and the wntrbtr2 I have runs polished Redline wheels for the winter, and the stock silver metallic wheels for summer. The Redline wheels are a pain to keep up. I cant stand black on wheels but so many people like that. I did textured black for a customers TC on a black car, and it does look good and stay clean. I gotta find some pictures lol...

these are the latest PRS twisting beam bushings . All spherical, work really well and surprisingly dont add a lot of harshness and noise to the ride. Handling is enhanced .

I would take a set of those HHR SS wheels for my car in a heartbeat. I've only found one person on this site who polished their stock SS wheels, and he hasn't replied to my PM recently. I like the factory finish on my SS wheels, but I got a thing for silver cars/polished wheels. An old buddy of mine had a silver Ion RL and it had the silver comp. package wheels on it. I loved that car until the day he sold it. I saw a silver Corvette going down the road this week with polished wheels. I dunno it's just a look I like.

My 2006 SS/SC was yellow with black wheels, so you can imagine I'm over the whole black wheel thing.

On a side note, I can't believe they don't have a vendor forum on this site for you! We need to get some Powell customers in here posting pictures of their Powell products and reviews! Let's get this man some business by spreading the word more! He pays his vendor dues! What's the problem css.net mods???

AFTERMARKET STEERING WHEEL HUBS. Special order. This didnt make the list, the pc one on the left is 350 dollars the race version with a boot is 175.00/ Both retain signal cancellation and work with the airbag clock spring, even though the air bag for the aftermarket wheel is not possible. None of the hubs I have seen have windows large enough to work with the OEM Cobalt clock spring and cancellation device.

Very nice powdercoating work! And very nice Ion RL!

So you must dibble dabble in a lot of stuff besides powdercoating and suspension stuff. Do you do any motor builds, tuning, etc?

All our parts are road and track tested: YYZ, PF01 on Z1 Direzza with xXx rear bar. Sticks like glue, look at the tire stand off on a 9.5 inch wide wheel!

This is at Watkins Glen on the R100 Hoosier slicks. Wow! Awesome grip. I started making trap door oil pans after this, and worked out a brushless HHR steering column motor thanks to GM racing

This is at Tremblant last summer; the rear carbon blade spoiler trunk is another custom not easily duplicated part I run. A 4 to 6 inch blade yields serious downforce.

This is our brake spindle air duct. Its another "trashbin" project, not practical for 99.9% of folks out there.

I used to be able to tune a French Horn. Area47 did most of the tunes on my car, SSkev in Canada is an excellent tuner also.

If I could tune I would have a decent working website lol.

Area is the best.
For motor builds I ran GMR motors until they ran out. I have a very good local shop does my engine machining and assembly work. The rest we do, other than tuning.

I hand groove slick tires to make an intermediate tire for track use for customers. I make them symetrical so they can run left or right. Tricky with the grooving iron, you go too deep you scrap the tire. About 500 each.

The 2004 Ion Redline had a supercharged engine and transmission that would make it to the 2005 Cobalt SS until 2007. But the 2004 Redline had a unique cradle and front engine mount. This is our exclusive all steel rotated front mount for that car. No one else does mounts like this for the Redline 2004.

Is it throw back Thursday yet? This is my ex F.2 Rondel Brabham FB car in 1973 racing up at Sanair Quebec. The Ron in Rondel was Ron Dennism who went on to become principal of McLarenF1 International.

Back in 2004 we found that the clutch pedal needs a stop so the TOB is not over travelled. If the carpet wears in a Cobalt after time this can happen and a stop is needed
