This. There are days where I can go for a drive, not a single problem. Friend gets in the car.. Dear god, project car mode activate. Noises, radio flicker, random stuff normally. I blame him.

I forgot about my blinker switch because its been fine lately... I'd say 1 out of every 100 right turns, it doesn't shut off. One time I was turning left out of a parking lot only to make an immediate right. I had my left signal on to exit the parking lot, and when it shut off the switch went all the way over to the right on its own. I didn't know our cars could anticipate corners like that!

Turn signals seem to be one of the highest breaking parts on these cars. I just swapped mine out for a new one because it wouldn't automatically turn off when I made a turn. Annoyed me after awhile

Seems like the blinker switch has a fault having to do with turning the opposite way when the blinker is on. As in, you turn the blinker to signal left, but you turn the wheel right. That's just what I noticed when mine broke.

Everything works on my 07 SS/SC. Some days the interior lights are fickle but they mostly work.

Asides from the odd rattle from the cheap plastic interior, my SS is 100% functioning, 80K miles strong at this point.

Wouldnt know anywhere you could order dynomat or that foil tape with the foam on the sticky side?
I have the same problem..but only the door pulls rattle. Plus it would be nice to have some around the spare tire aswell to keep that from doing a jig when the sub pounds

I had to replace my hvac control and right side wheel control buttons because they were burnt out but other than that everything is fine on my 06 with 100k kms on it. The dash rattles and whatnot but it's a cobalt...what do you expect. Its why I don't daily drive it otherwise I'd burn it lol

My fog light button doesn't work. I need to look into replacing the button the see if that will fix it.
Also sometimes my traction control/competitive mode button doesn't work. Which is HORRIBLE because then the car just kills the power when you get on it.. Might have to look into a new button for that too.
The positive battery ring slips on & off the battery terminal, so I will probably need to change that.

But other than that it's great. My old 06 had the sunroof bezel that kept breaking, but this one hasn't had one problem.

You are getting a lot of miles on her at this point. Anything breaks down overtime, even the German cars.
Luckily mine sits at 41000 and currently everything works 100% on it.
Mileage and treated roads kill all cars.

lol I would never... EVER get a German car after seeing what my buddy went through with his E46 3 series and another with an Audi A4, those cars needed full time mechanics and EVERYTHING was x2 price

I have read that over and over. Same with a lot of brands like Jaguar and Land Rover. They are money pits unless you are mechanic by trade.

My door locks dont work, the auto lock that happens after 15mph works fine. The only other issue is the passenger side window is slow. Anyone know about the locks?

My driver side unlock/lock and like half of my mirror adjustment(I can only move them down, if I want to move them up I have to do it manually) they stopped working after I unplugged the locks because the doors kept locking and unlocking by themselves

what is weird is that the trunk button doesn't work everytime you hit it.

sometimes it works first press and sometimes i have to press is 20 times. same with the FOB.

heater fan is off balance and makes noise on low settings, turn signal doesn't stay on by itself anymore
