Don't let this happen to you, customers beware of Streetwise

Ok, I ain't one to talk too much shit, unless somebody pisses me off, or screws over a friend. Thjs is a warning for Southern Ontario People

This is what happened to Val (aka Saturnd00d) when he went to Streetwise Customz. I know that he said he used to work for saturn as a Tech, this I don't doubt, but after how badly he screwed up Val's motor, I wouldn't let him touch my lawnmower.

If you want details of the transaction between Fred and Val, contact Val, or he can post it after me, I am only listing the problems with the work that Streetwise did.

What work Val wanted done is to install a ported and polished head (that he bought from the US) on his ION3 sedan, he got that on, and thats all he got right (even the exhuast manifold to downpipe bolts were all loose and leaking like a bastard)

Heres the pics, everything has captions so that you know what you are looking at.

So thats my breakdown, Fred if you want please come on here and defend yourself, I tried to get val to talk to you before I posted these pics, cause I don't like to blindside people, but I don't like my friends getting screwed over as well.

Setting the chain back one notch is NOT a good idea. Get adjustable gears. One full link back is WAY too much.

Did the engine run in the condition you found the chain in? If so, the alignment marks will no longer matter. They are only correct when you first install them. You can not verify it was wrong after that. The tensioner however is a blatent screw up. Are the valves and pistons in tact? Was there any possibility of contact?
