Short answer is you can't use a used BCM, so you would need to get a new one and have that mated to your car and keys, etc. by the dealer.

You can use a used one but the mileage will be wrong, still have to have a dealer program so everything will work. Problem is they used so many different ones each year that getting a correct part# one that also works is hard. Have had a so many used ones come through that have problems b/c junk cars are left in the open. The bcm and the connectors aren't sealed. Usually a bcm wont keep a car from starting but it can.

Not removing the trim for paint?

Seems like a ton of work to just skip the little stuff.

im gonna take off the cowl, rocker panel covers, mirrors, and window seals, inner door skins, antenna, spoiler, both bumpers. theirs just so many key marks on the thing that it doesn't make sense to take any of it off yet haha unfortunately i didn't take any pictures of how bad it is but this one should give u an idea. this was the better side of the car the other one has at least 15 more key marks

Sport red tintcoat will cost me 1200 dollars for just a gallon of base coat mid coat and clear coat so I'm going with switchblade silver instead the base coat n clear r 493 for a gallon n I'm hoping that's all I'll need haha
